This Fall, Don’t FALL for this!

No matter how you and your family / friends typically do Halloween, keep your eyes on the following as a believer:

Fear, the demonic, superstition
are NOT fun, friendly, or inconsequential!

The Bible says that the devil roams around seeking who he can devour. His primary method? He gets us curious, feeds us lies and counterfeits, and in that deception is the power to control us with strongholds and demonic footholds.

I recently listened to the testimony of a girl who, at age 5, had participated in a Tarot Card party her parents were holding. It so fascinated her that she ended up taking a long, dark road into the occult. She was 39 (!) before she cried out to Jesus and He saved her from the demons that were all around her trying to bring her down.

That’s exactly what Jesus does - He speaks truth to us and sets us FREE! If you need freedom from involvement with horror, demonic strongholds, oppression of any kind, call on the Name of Jesus - He is powerful to save!

And let’s all make sure we don’t fall for the works and plans of the enemy in any area of our lives. Remember the truth:  that we have authority over all the works of the enemy and that nothing shall by any means harm us (Luke 10:19); that if we submit to God, we can resist the devil and he WILL flee (James 4:7)!

And, above all church, know this: YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD - No matter what day it is, no matter any darkness in culture, YOU get to be full of love, full of joy, full of His LIGHT! Let’s let it shine and make a difference in our families, at work, and in our neighborhoods. (Matthew 5:14-16)

Love you all,

Rowan
