On Boldness before God
It’s tempting when we pray or come before God with our lives to feel small or insignificant, or perhaps ashamed and unpleasing.
Turns out however that this is the opposite of the approach God has designed us to have. He has made a way for us to come before Him (because of the Blood of Jesus) with a secure and unwavering confidence. What a difference this can make in our prayers!

See, along with humility and honor of who He is, it’s this confidence that we are invited to hold in our hearts as we pray. Imagine that! It’s like a son coming to a father with full knowledge of the fathers love, and full assurance that what he’s asking for, and the longing in his heart to know the fathers love and affection, will be met with kindness.
After all, whatever He has, belongs to you, because of the power of what Jesus has done. Praise God! Now go pray like that.
