Adventure Awaits!

    Here's What to Expect...

This fall as you are beginning some new routines, re-evaluating current ones, setting your sights on some goals, and as you are pressing for the next level in an area of your life, remember...
    1. You will need to learn something new in order to do something new. So read a book, ask a question, figure out a first step. This will be something that the Spirit of God can coach you in. Remember, He is with us for that very purpose. Ask Him to give you the keys you will need as you learn.
Read: John 16:13 - "But when the truth-giving Spirit comes, He will unveil the reality of every truth within you. He won’t speak his own message, but only what He hears from the Father, and He will reveal prophetically to you what is to come." (The Passion Translation)
    2. This journey will entail some discomfort! To learn something new is never easy, but it is the only way to begin to live on a new level in a sustainable way. This means your path will include some falling down and getting back up, some facing of fears, and the discomfort of not knowing what to do. When you are in that place, remember to lean on trusting God with your whole heart.
Read: Prov. 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." (NIV)
    3. The reward will be worth it! The greatest regrets in life are not the from trying and failing, but rather from the things you never tried to reach. Or the thing you didn't try again. God's plan is for your success, and He wants to bring you there. He wants this for you, and He wants this for the expression of Himself through your life. That makes it worth everything.
Read: 2 Cor. 2:14 - "Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place." (NKJV)
So, as we set out in our adventures, remember these things and embrace this season for all that God has in it!
